What data would you track if you had to track it by hand? This photo was taken at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. The Wright Brothers managed to debunk Smeaton’s coefficient without benefit of MySQL, Splunk, or even Excel. Made me wonder if the focus mandated by their limited data gathering technology actually improved their ability to analyze their findings.
